How do you know if you are ready to start a family? It is a huge step in anyone’s life to even think about having a baby, and a decision that will change your life forever. So when is the right time?
There are some women whose internal body clock will tell them they are physically ready for a baby. My body was screaming this to me before I had my first baby. But in terms of practicalities and finances, I was still unprepared.
The birth of your first baby should be a joyous event, and probably the highlight of your life (along with your wedding). You should be able to bring your baby home to a warm, stable environment where everything is prepared for this precious new life.
